Become a Champion for Education
A Champion for Education is anyone in the community that is committed
to education in Northern Kentucky. A Champion is devoted to
being actively engaged and encouraging other to be engaged in
the Northern Kentucky education system.
What does a Champion Do?
- A Champion comprehends and understands the issues facing
our educational institutions and our children who are trying
to compete in a global economy.
- A Champion communicates the challenges our current education
system faces and ways to overcome those challenges to co-workers,
neighbors, family, and friends.
- A Champion coordinates volunteer opportunities and advocates
on behalf of education.
- A Champion cares not only about their own child or their
own school district, but about all of Northern Kentucky.
- A Champion commits to working with an individual school
to implement solutions to those challenges within that particular
school.
Vision 2015 and other key partners have developed numerous ways for Champions to make a difference in the lives of hundreds of Northern Kentucky students through direct volunteer opportunities, advocacy efforts, and awareness campaigns. If you are not already signed up as a Champion for Education, complete this form and e-mail to Nancy Grayson at ngrayson@vision2015.org. By completing this form, your information will be included in a region-wide database of individuals committed to improving education. As opportunities arise that fit your areas of interest, you will be contacted and asked to take action.
